The intersection of product and lifestyle is where I thrive. And there’s nothing I love more than working with talent to create compelling vignettes that place the product as a supporting hero. Having shot for automotive & aircraft companies like Tesla, Airbus, and Wisk, I’ve become adept at interweaving lighting, composition and talent to convey a sense of ease and elegance.
I’ve also worked on many integrated shoots, and know what is required of the photographer — moving fast but deliberately, balancing both opportunistic and planned photos, and being able to work in lock-step with video are all extremely critical elements in a busy shoot day.
I love the reference images and style brief: playing up warm, natural light and creating depth via foreground & leading lines, all in service of creating an approachable sense of limitless horizons. It’s a vision I’m confident I can execute on and bring to life.

Growing up as a student-athlete and first-generation Asian-American, Kris quickly became accustomed to crisscrossing a diverse range of communities, worldviews and identities on a daily basis. These experiences fueled a love for exploration, and ultimately led him to media and storytelling.
A product of the Stanford d.school, his work is tied together by the common thread of empathy and spans visual media & storytelling, consumer products, and international development. From celebrities to CEOs to subsistence hunters, he draws frequently from his interdisciplinary background to create the most striking and meaningful work possible with those around him.
